World Book Day 2014!

We all had a great day on Thursday 6th March to celebrate World Book Day.  We started off having a whole school assembly where we talked about why World Book Day is so special, and that it is all about the celebration of reading, authors and illustrators.

Throughout the morning we were busy in our classrooms preparing something to share with another class just before lunch.  There were a wide range of activities: storytelling, finding rhyming words in books, creating book reviews and scrapbook pages of our favourite books, creating rules for taming our teachers (!) , writing poetry and creating board games.

Just before lunch we swapped and shared our learning with another class.  Here are some of our pictures from the day.  We hope you enjoyed spending your book token!
